Your will join our Oracle Team
The Database Operation department consist globally of 43 operation employees that are skilled in Oracle, MS SQL and DB2 and are offering both operational and consultancy support. As Oracle Operational Specialist you are responsible for the daily operations and optimization of our customers Oracle databases. We share knowledge and back each other up in the day-to-day tasks and we strive for continuous development as a team and work place.
The team works closely together with our IT Operations Services division in Denmark, responsible for everything from infrastructure and applications to complete orchestration and support of our customers’ IT solutions. Our work processes are based on best practice and our procedures follow ITIL standards (IT Infrastructure Library).
Your qualifications and experience
You must have a business-oriented approach to communication and a problem-solving attitude.
Moreover, one can rely on you, you're independence and at the same time open to learning something new. Taking proactive steps to maintain skills in relevant specialist areas, and continuously broadening knowledge of systems.
Three months you should be ready to handle a most of the daily operation tasks independently. Then you are exactly the person we are looking for and trust us, spotting you has been difficult.
Your responsibilities as Database Administrator
As a Database Administrator in NNIT you will be part of our Oracle operation service team that handles the daily operation of more than +950 Oracle installations. The Oracle Service Operation team ensures smooth operation of Oracle databases.
You will be thoroughly acquainted with the job through an introduction course, where you will learn about our working methods and processes.
Your primary tasks will be:
Notebook, Meal tickets / catering allowance, Holidays 5 weeks, Educational courses, training, Cafeteria, Refreshments on workplace, Contribution to sport / culture / leisure, 3 Sick day, Occasional work from home, Corporate Events
Required education: Bachelor Degree,
Required languages: English (Advanced)
Required Workpermit: Permanent within EU
