Florence, SC – API Manufacturing

How will you make an impact?

The Project Coordinator works under the direction of a Project Manager to be a liaison between chemistry and manufacturing as well as and our clients. They are responsible for project preparation logistics for production as well as documenting client interactions by preparing meeting agendas, minutes, etc.

What will you do?

  • Assist the PM in facilitating team meetings and other key project-related meetings; prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and action items.
  • Participates in relevant meetings/teleconferences with existing and prospective clients.
  • Ensure all master data (material item codes, business partners, etc.) and other documents (material specifications, test methods, quality agreements, etc.) are created and maintained consistent and accurate.
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.
  • Assist in the resolution of manufacturing deviations and manufacturing product investigations by evaluating data and defining possible Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA’s).
  • Daily planning operations supporting the manufacturing facility; planning for and ensuring availability of raw materials, documentation and resources.
  • Generating raw material and product specifications.
  • Assist in the development of client specific reports (e.g., campaign summary reports), protocols, and other required project documentation.
  • Liaises with Project Management, Manufacturing, Materials Management, Quality Control, Analytical Development and Quality Assurance as well as other functional areas to meet project and team objectives
  • Train/mentor junior staff

How will you get here?

Education
  • BS – Chemistry or related discipline - required

Experience
  • 2+ years’ pharmaceutical experience.
  • Good knowledge of pharmaceutical product development and GMP preferred.
  • Established quality, regulatory, and production mindset including a strong appreciation for client service.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Functions well in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment and also independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint)
