Haldor Topsoe is an international company on an exciting journey. Our specialized catalysts and technology are sold to industrial plants throughout the world. We now offer a unique position as a student assistant in our Chemical Process Department where we are responsible for the design and start-up of industrial plants for ammonia, methanol, hydrogen and SNG production.
Your tasks will focus on the improvement of our calculation tools and assisting on the department’s daily work. This is done in close collaboration with your other 50 colleagues – mainly chemical engineers - within the Process Chemical Department as well as with colleagues from other departments.
You will be offered the opportunity to work in an international environment in close collaboration with our most knowledgeable specialists and we will also make sure that you will receive the necessary training to succeed in your tasks. The average workload is 10-15 hours per week during normal working hours.
You are a chemical engineer student in the first years of your bachelor/education and you are an experienced user of Microsoft Office applications – particularly Excel (VBA). Work experience from previous student jobs and programming experience will be an advantage.
It is essential that you are proficient in English, both spoken and written.
